The Heritage Association of South Africa (HASA) recently updated their website on which they explain that the Heritage Association of South Africa is the voice of conservation bodies from around the country that are dedicated to conserving the national estate.
The Stellenbosch Heritage Foundation is now also an associate. Useful information is included in the HASA website, for instance the answers to the following questions are provided:
- What are the rights of the community?
- How do I research my community?
- How do I conduct a heritage survey of my community?
- How do I get a site declared?
- Should I notify HASA about endangered heritage sites in my area?
- Does HASA provide funding?
- What assistance can HASA provide?
