Dezeen (an online architecture, interiors and design magazine based in London) awarded the Design Project of the Year to Silo, a creative branding and design agency. Silo designed a bicycle parking garage outside The Hague Central Station, Netherlands. According to the judges, this large, underground garage “speaks to now, and it speaks to the future. It takes so many things into consideration, including human wellbeing, the environment, and how we plan to live in the future as a human race. This project is a nod towards doing things differently with a new focus, by making cyclists’ needs the priority·”
The local spatial development framework (LSDF) for the Adam Tas Corridor (or Stellenbosch Corridor) published by Stellenbosch Municipality, aims to bring hope and create sustainable growth.
