Statement of Significance
Mid-to-later 19th century farmhouse, set in a loose werf formation with a variety of ordinary farm
buildings of various ages surrounding it. House set on a plinth with two gables, stoepkamers and
central, symmetrical access. Front gables are curvilinear and have round vents, straight gable at

very good example of a turn-of-the century farmhouse.
This is a contributing farm werf, that exhibits a pattern of settlement of the Bottelary, and introduces
an interesting Victorian architecture. It has historical, architectural and contextual significance.
