Interior Description
History
Granted in 1832 to Hendrik Godfried Liebetrau.
Grouping with other sites
An extremely fine example of the linear werf type.
Evidence of Demolition
Contextual Design
An extremely find example of a linear werf. As Fransen notes: "from the stoep, with its old tiles and
brick on edge edges and seats at the ends, there is a magnificent view of the little Bonterivier River
valley and the Helderberg beyond" (2004: 237).
