Description
Werf complex, with ringmuur, comprises homestead, two splayed flanking buildings, at rear is older fabric in structure extended in 19th century, and a discrete new wine cellar. H-plan single-storey pitched thatch roofed house, with early pedimented holbol gables (1795), curve-headed windows on front, casements at rear and fake central door; courts filled in; stoep all round. Cellar / barn with <br />
thatched roof, central gable (1837), and altered end gables. Long barn-like outbuilding, opposite, now with restaurant alterations and additions (section of exposed mud brick walling).
