Description
This early 20th century farm werf is most interesting because of the agri-industial structures that form the northern edge of the werf. These have a characteristic roofline, and as a whole the werf provides an interesting example as a counterpoint to the older, Cape Dutch farmsteads within the sub-valley.

Stellenbosch Kloof Road, being located close to the junction of that road with Polkadraai. The farm
was the first to plant Portuguese Port varietals. It has contextual and aesthetic significance, and is
representative of an early 20th century farmstead.
Landscape Significance
The landscaping on the werf is characteristic of the 20th century, and contributes to the whole.
