Inappropriate Revivalist style with parapets, pediments, vases and sash windows with hood mouldings, and with glass wall above on left side. Ground floor recessed with arcade over raised walkway, with planter next to mill stream, and straight stairs over mill stream. Verandah with straight columns on Ryneveld Street side."
