Description
Two old barns with linear landscaping enclosed to the north by a very wide barn with some evidence of historic fabric, and an over-sanitised dovecot. Behind the barns are various ad hoc modern additions, which give way to pasturage leading down to the Eerste River.

This site contributes to the history of Upper Vredenberg, and strongly contributes to the pattern of
settlement common to the farms located between the R310 and the Eerste River. The buildings are
of some age and create a fine, if modest, historic farm settlement. The site has a high degree of
historical, architectural, scenic, aesthetic and contextural significance.
