Description

H-plan, with fine central gable (1774), now with corrugated-iron roof and pillared verandah. Altered by Kendall in 1920s and after fire in 1955. Entrance gates / bridge leading to avenue on axis. Belltower and outbuldings not assessed.

Statement of Significance

This historic farm was restored and added to by FK Kendall in the mid-20th century. The main farmstead retains a rare front gable. The site has considerable historical, architectural, contextual and scenic significance. It is a proclaimed National Monument site.
