Double-storey neo-Cape Revival house with gables, thatch roof, on axis with entrance avenue. Symmetrical double-storey building with staircase to entrance on upper level with neo-Classical elements. Wide H-plan single-storey thatched agricultural building with four gables.

This late Cape Revival building, though altered, retains some architectural significance. Because of is location in the foothills of the Simonsberg along the R44, the site has scenic and landscape significance. As a site of instruction, it has educational significance.
