Description
A small, U-shaped homestead with hipped ends and dormer gables over the entrances. The facade woodwork, comprising two half-width sash windows to either side of the central front door, dates from the mid 19th century (see Fransen, 2004: 221). The Modernist Oude Libertas Theatre is located to the east of the homestead. A vineyard foreground and rows of mature trees create the <br />
foreground to the site, which is set against a dark, forrested backdrop on the slopes of the Papagaaiberg.

significance due to its use.
