"Three storey building with hipped slate roof, and cantilevered canopy over the pavement, cut back on the diagonal on the corners. Central tower facing Mill Square with double height recessed entrance portico and cantilevered balcony with wrought iron railing above. Double casements with fanlights to upper floors, various shopfronts to ground floor."
