Description

Cape Dutch barn (1700s altered through time), long building with short T, distinctive Baroque gable (1780), and enormous buttresses. The Edwardian house an exemplar of the style. Single-storey asymmetrical villa with integral 90-degree stoep, fine concrete pillars, two protruding gable ends decorated with mouldings, dormer windows, hipped roof (now with Marley tiles). The line of Palm trees enhance the position of the building in the landscape. Mature Oaks mark original werf.
