Description
"Ornate villa with complex slate roof crowned with tall cast iron ball-finials, with dormer windows with fretwork gable trim and decorative eaves brackets. Projecting gables on two sides with decorative timber fretwork trim. Projecting loft porch to Van Riebeeck St gable, with cast iron balustrade and concave roof on timber brackets. Verandah between gables with cast iron columns and brackets. Pointed brickwork quoins and surrounds to openings. Varnished timber sashes with louvred shutters, some with etched glass. Verandah has gablet over entrance with timber decoration and double precast columns. Half-glazed front door with sidelights and leaded fanlight with coloured glass.Ball-capped gateposts."
