Description
A collection of Cape Revival Buildings, with some Victorian elements discernable in the long, single storey, U-shaped main structure, with continuous stoep, Frensch doors and sash windows. The structure sports a collection of Cape Revival style gables, one of them dated 1923, although parts of the building are clearly much older. Elements such as round ventilators, dormers giving access to a roof loft and so on attest to Victorian, or even earlier occupation. Staff cottages, in a similar but simpler style, occur to the side of the main building. The whole is surrounded by mature trees.
