Statement of Significance
This is a significant site from many heritage perspectives. The recently sensitively renovated early
modest homestead is very well sited and retains much historic fabric and charachter derived
therefrom. There are a number of other extant historic structures and ruins in the vicinity. Newer farm
buildings have been so sited as to detract minimally from the surviving heritage resources. Moreover,
the scenic and landscape setting is superb with many trees of stature and well vegetated surrounds.
The site has aesthetic, architectural, scenic and landscape significance.
