Description
Single storey house with hipped corrugated roof, Cape revival gable with original vent, stoep supported on Doric columns. The windows replaced, but the house remains a good example of a type that is prevalent in the Ida's Valley village area.

This is an intact example of a building type that occurs throughout Ida's Valley, although in most
other cases has been altered. The building has representational and contextual significance. The
association of Ida's Valley with the forced removals at "Die Vlakte" lend the site additional socio historical significance.
Landscape Significance
An oak tree on the pavement contributes to the streetscape.
