Statement of Significance
This structure is characteristic of the early 20th century suburban villas that were constructed in this
part of Stellenbosch. It has contextual and architectural significance, and contributes to the
streetscape.
Landscape Significance
Unfortunately the houses (No. 3 and 5) have lost their front gardens entirely to parking areas. Mature
oaks on the pavement contribute to the streetscape.
