This structure is a well-maintained example of a Victorian house, and is characteristic of the Victorian villas that were constructed in this part of Stellenbosch. Its garden makes a positive contribution to Mostertsdrift, in addition to its fine architecture. It has architectural, some historical as well as contextual significance, and contributes to the streetscape.
