Description

A Victorian single storey structure with central entrance between two projecting bay windows, and gable end above with loft window. The junction of the "gable architecture" of the structure with the "stoep architecture" of the ground level, below the stoep roof, is slightly awkward and may hint at an older, more modest core structure, that was "Victorianised". The joinery (sash windows, french door), <br /> "broekielace" columns, as well as plaster detailing seem to be original. A modern garage building is freestanding, to the south. The edge of the site is defined by a low hedge to the street.
