Statement of Significance
This is a somewhat intact example of a building type that occurs throughout Ida's Valley, although
in most other cases has been altered. The building has representational and contextual
significance. The association of Ida's Valley with the forced removals at "Die Vlakte" lend the site
additional socio-historical significance.
Landscape Significance
Mature tree on the pavement contributes to the streetscape, as does the front garden.
