| SITE & STRUCTURE DESCRIPTION: | A layered werf that has experienced many changes, but where sense of whole / sense of place has been restored. The werf is framed by the main house, jonkershuis, cow shed and old slave building. A werf wall and water sloot define the edge along the R310, while to the east the Eerste River, with historic slave bell, edges the whole werf. | ||||||
