| SITE & STRUCTURE DESCRIPTION: | A grand old Cape Revival house, set on the slope and on a plinth, with a deep stoep supported by Doric columns and elaborate balustrade, and original joinery including an extremely fine entrance door with fan and slide lights, lead-paned windows and French doors. The structure retains its characteristic red-tiled hipped roof, with tall Cape Revival gables to either side of the stoep. | ||||||
